Information for Manufacturers

Betaflight is free, open-source flight control software for every kind of drone, and runs on hardware from many manufacturers. We work with those manufacturers so that they, and the pilots who fly their hardware, get the best out of Betaflight.

Start with the Hardware Policy. It sets out what we prefer, support and accept into the cloud build, what we do not recommend or warn against, how the cloud build differs from firmware you distribute yourself, and who supports a board once it ships. In short: we fix Betaflight, manufacturers support their hardware, and pilots own their builds.

This section also covers the Manufacturer Design Guidelines, the Connector Standard, creating and submitting a board config, and the Betaflight Supported and Betaflight Partners programmes.
